Overview

DMARC is added as a TXT record in your domain’s DNS.

Basic starter DMARC record (monitoring mode)

v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com; ruf=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com; fo=1

What this does

  • Does not block email

  • Sends reports to your email address

  • Allows you to monitor issues safely

How to add the record

  1. Open Eclipse Web Portal

  2. Go to DNS Management

  3. Add a TXT record

  4. Host/Name: _dmarc

  5. Paste the DMARC value

  6. Save changes

Advanced policies (use with caution)

  • p=quarantine

  • p=reject

Only apply stricter policies once SPF and DKIM are fully verified.
